In 2015, IRONMAN 70.3 race will take place for the first time in the heart of Europe, in ISTRIA – Croatia.
Pula is situated on the beautiful Adriatic coast on the southernmost part of the Istrian peninsula in a well protected bay known by its Latin name, Pietas Iulia. It is a city full of history, where nearly every stone has a story to tell. The early beginnings of Pula date back three millennia to the Colchis seafarers in search of the "Golden Fleece" who established Pula some 3,000 years ago.
